With the exceptional high quality DACO Contracts has instilled into its workforce through the prestigious projects relating to hotel leisure it has enabled us to bring these to the residential market offering a bespoke service.

The property already held a fairly prestigious feel but it was felt that a more modern day edge was needed, we set about the opening up of smaller rooms forming a contemporary family feel to a village cottage premises. The attached pictures display the varying range of items carried out within the project.

The original property sat on this stunning location but unfortunately the building had stood still and a major project was required to make this one of the ultimate residencies within the area. From the initial planning stages, to costing, to programming and developing a brand new house with a 10,500 sq ft floor plan was born. Careful negations were required with the planners to allow the large residence, the use of a basement area allowed the introduction of a guest apartment, games room, swimming pool changing facilities, cinema, wine cellar and plant room. The art of this area was to form a facility which did not feel like it was enclosed beneath the house. Clever design bringing the formation of light wells certainly enhanced the area. Developing across the ground floor saw the introduction of swimming pool, gymnasium, sauna and steam room, family living area and kitchen whilst keeping the more refined entertaining areas separate. Going up through the building the formation of the bedrooms all with their own en-suites along with the introduction of balconies and patio areas added to this luxury future home. This construction along with once again drawing on our hotel refurbishment quality saw the interiors take an impressive shape. Careful external landscaping was further introduced to enable this building to sit seamlessly within its surroundings.

The Interior Designer having worked previously with DACO Contracts on numerous hotel projects put us forward for the upgrading of this grand residence. Working within an occupied home obviously means the two parties have to liaise closely together ensuring home life remains as normal as possible. This 12 week project saw the upgrading of the main entrance hallways adaption of servants quarters into a luxury apartment along with the re-configuring of existing bedrooms and bathrooms all to an exceptional quality.

Yet another hotel interior designer had been awarded this scheme to redesign the interior along with extending the footprint of the building to enable a modern twist on this family home. DACO Contracts were awarded the project which entailed full re-modernisation of all rooms including bathrooms and kitchens along with a feature stone work extension. All mechanical and electrical services have been upgraded.
